The Game's the Thing...

Giants are doing another web promotion to capture more email addresses and market to us schmoes. Can’t blame ‘em.

Anyway, the contest is: “What if they were really YOUR SF Giants?”

Here’s my actual entry:

I would get rid of the "Noise" prompts on the scoreboard, bring back the old time organ, and return baseball to its mellower past. Fans can get fired up by themselves, based on the circumstances on the field, as the game itself "is the thing." Let the fans dictate when they should clap--they know when to roar and it would be much more authentic, and ultimately more satisfying.
